Fine 18th Century (c.1780) George III antique inlaid mahogany bureau bookcase in excellent condition. Surmounted by an open fretted pediment with swan neck horns and marquetry inlay above a dentil frieze. The two astragal glazed doors, with original glazing opening to adjustable shelved bookcase. The inlaid bureau flap opening to exceptional marquetry and satinwood interior with secret drawers, cupboard and pigeonholes. The 4 graduated cock-beaded drawers with original mahogany liners (indicates great quality) original brass swan neck handles and supported on a moulded base and shaped original bracket feet.
