Pair of Horn-Lined Silver Napkin Rings 1932

This pair of solid sterling silver napkin rings is in excellent condition. They have an engine-turned decoration with thick horn liners and slightly fluted edges. Clearly hallmarked for Birmingham 1932, with the maker's mark of Joseph Gloster Ltd and Patent No. 325841. The silver is in an unused condition and the horn is firmly fixed inside each ring. The box is the original - from Thomas Ross & Sons in Glasgow - and shows some signs of wear.
