For sale are a charming pair of Art Nouveau drip glaze small pitchers / vases. - The vases are a beautiful pair of striking languid green drip glazes with curvilinear small handles and naturalistic tulip like form to the small and simple pitchers or vases. - This elegant pair are an unusual pattern but striking pair. - The glaze has a wonderful patina to the age at 120 years with some crazing internally. - Aller Vale Pottery, Newton Abbot Torquay was formed in 1881 and was in business until 1932. The production of art pottery wares, applying Arts & Craft principles, from 1881 to around 1905. Shape number 998 (Normandy or Straw according to the Torquay Pottery website). A lovely stylish and languid pair of vases in an early art nouveau style.
